Mother’s Day Novena of Masses
We will be celebrating a Novena of Masses (Nine Masses) at St. Elizabeth Seton beginning on Mother’s Day to be offered for all the Women, living and dead who have touched us in some way, and whom we want to remember with a series of Masses. For those who have lost Mothers and Grandmothers, it is especially fitting to remember them in this fashion since we cannot each have a Mass intention on Mother’s Day and the week following. Please be thinking of the names you would want included on the altar for those Masses. Envelopes for those names are in the pews for your intentions.

Happy Mother’s Day!
Heavenly Father,
you have been pleased to give all human beings
the joy of having a mother,
one who works with you to give them life
and bring them to human adulthood.
You have given followers of your Son
the added joy of a Christian mother,
who works with you to give supernatural life to a child
and to bring up that child to Christian adulthood.
