The Directories Are Here!!!

The 25th Anniversary Parish Directories have arrived and will be distributed after all Masses during the weeks of February 25/26, March 3/4 and March 10/11.

If you/your family were photographed for the 25th Anniversary Directory, stop downstairs after Mass to pick up your complimentary copy.

Later in March, extra copies will be made available to parishoners who did not get their picture taken for the directory but still would like a copy.  See the bulletin for more details.

CHILI CONTEST!!!!

Think your chili is good? Enter your chili against a local area contest winning chili. The winning chili, as selected by our judges – who love chili – will be awarded a SHOPSES prize…unless the reigning champion wins…then he just gets to gloat!

A $5 entry fee gets your chili into the contest and please prepare 1 gallon of chili.

$10 per person; children 11 years and younger are free.

Tickets on sale Sept. 17 & 18, and Sept. 24 & 25.

But hey! Give us a reason to let you in for free by celebrating “25” with any of the following:

  • If you are celebrating your 25th wedding anniversary this year…you get in free (husband and wife)
  • If you are 25 years old…you get in free
  • If the individual ages of your children add up to 25…your children get in free
  • If you bring 25 canned goods to be donated to a food bank…you get 3 family members in free
  • If you are wearing a sports jersey with the number 25 on it…you get in free
  • If you purchase 25 anniversary glasses…you get 5 people in free
  • If you drive to the event and park near the tent in a car that is 25 years old…you get in free.
  • If you plan to take advantage of one of the above, please still stop by the Ticket Desk to let us know how many people to expect…need to make sure we have enough SPAM!
