Welcome to the Wedding Planning pages at SES. Please view the links on the left for more information about wedding planning at St. Elizabeth Seton.
We hope these pages will assist you in planning your ceremony. They have been prepared to help you make your wedding day both beautiful and memorable.
If you are planning a wedding ceremony at SES, the first thing you need to do is schedule a date with our parish secretary at (630) 416-3325. Please note that wedding dates, especially in the summer months, fill up quickly.
Once a date has been scheduled, familiarize yourself with the liturgy and music options available to you by clicking on the associated links to the left. We will then schedule an appointment with you to discuss these options and help you make your choices, so that your wedding day will truly reflect your desires.
Couples planning to marry are requested to make arrangements early, but at least six months in advance of the proposed date, by contacting the Parish Office.
Please check out the additional pages by clicking the links in the left side of the screen in the blue column.

Stained Glass - Matrimony Window
Matrimony Windows are are the front stained glass windows on the Holy Family side of the church. Two vines begin this window and become one vine after passing through Elizabeth Ann and William Seton’s wedding bands (wed in 1794). The lilies represent Elizabeth’s five children, Anna Maria, William, Richard, Catherine, and Rebecca. The extinguished candle in the second segment represent the early death of her husband (1803) and the two dead flowers represent the death of two of her children at young ages, Anna Maria (1812) and Rebecca (1816).
