5:00 P.M. Family Mass on Christmas Eve
The Children’s Choir will sing at this Mass.
A special focus will be given to the children of the Parish. Children in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades will have the opportunity to participate in the Living Nativity.
At the 5:00 P.M. Mass, children in Kindergarten – 2nd Grade will be invited to participate in the Living Gospel.
- Click for the pattern of a sheep, star and angel that you can download from our website.
- You can simply print the pattern and trace and cut it out on posterboard or cardboard.
- Decorate the sheep, star or angel and attach a paint stick or ruler to it.
- When Father and the deacon are proclaiming the Gospel and call for the sheep, all who are sheep will come to the front, etc.

The patterns will be available in the Religious Education office, and on the parish website.
Elementary Ministry provides for the religious formation of the parish youngsters. Pre-school (age four) meets on Sunday mornings in the Lower Level. Sacramental preparation is provided for First Holy Communion and Reconciliation (Confession).
Classes are facilitated by catechists, generally, in their homes. We offer two classes for each grade in the building for families with 3 or more children in the program, single parent household and special circumstances.
Each grade level has a large group event held at the church throughout the year.

==================
The Vocation Cross for St. Elizabeth Seton will be traveling through the 5th Grade Religious Education Classes this year.
Here’s how the program works:
Each week a different catechest will receive the vocation cross and a special prayer written to accompany it. In taking the cross, the RE class commits themselves to pray during the week in the name of our parish the vocation prayer in thanksgiving for all those generously sharing in Church ministry and in particular for the gift of priests, deacons, sisters and brothers to serve in our Joliet Diocese. The prayer only takes a few minutes to pray.
It is our hope that this experience will encourage each of us to take seriously our vocation as a member of the Body of Christ and encourage ALL of us to pray for the gift of vocations to priesthood, deaconate and religious life (not just the class with the cross for the week!).
We believe the Spirit is calling forth men and women from our faith community to these roles of service. May our prayer help inspire young women and men to be attentive to the movement of the Spirit within them and to step forward in faith and with generous hearts to wherever the Spirit leads them.
For more information, please contact the Religious Ed office 630-416-1992.
Each prayer can make a difference. May God bless you for your generosity.
